Friar Chuck is a full time actor-entertainer.  Starting at age sixteen  in the Redford Union High School production of “The Fantasticks” Chuck has dedicated his life to performing and keeping audiences laughing.  A few years after high school Friar Chuck continued his education at Second City Detroit, where he studied improvisation and joined the improv group which formed from the class: The First from the Second, the group that eventually became the Portuguese Rodeo Clown Co.

Friar Chuck lives in the Detroit area where he is active in Murder/Mystery productions, dinner theatre comedy shows, and Brainstormers!, a professional touring company that uses improvisation techniques to get kids excited about creative writing.  Friar Chuck has also recently been a dancer for the Pistons all-male dance troupe, the Spare Tires, and has made a couple of independent films.  He is also married to a librarian, has ferrets, and would like to thank A&W Root beer for keeping his career “a float.”
