
Kevin The Randy, a Flint Native, holds a
Bachelor of Arts degree in Vocal Music Performance from the
University of Michigan - Flint.
He is currently a vocalist for Bocca Musica™, a bawdy, musical-comedy act, and a
former chorus member for
Michigan Opera Theatre in
Detroit and for Impromp2, a gospel octet.
Kevin has been in several theatrical productions, including the role of Danny
Zuko in Grease, Anselmo in The Man of La Mancha, and Ovington in How to Succeed
in Business Without Really Trying. Kevin has received multiple awards and
honors at the university level, and recently auditioned for the United States
Army Chorus, where he reached the final nine entrants (out of a field of over
200) before being cut.
Kevin has had many years of choral experience, singing with university and community choirs throughout the Flint area, as well as with madrigal ensembles. Kevin's formal music training includes studies in voice at the University of Michigan - Flint, with such teachers as Dr. Daniel Scheutz, Donna Green, Ivan Griffin, and Maureen Carlson.
Outside of music, Kevin is an accomplished martial artist, with instructor level ranking in two arts (brown belt in Okinawan San Chin Ryu, and first degree black in Kalkinodo). He is also a proud father to Braeden Allen and Logan Robert, who are the two cutest boys in the world.
