Bocca Musica is an international, award-winning, band that's proud to be from the Metro Detroit area. Bocca has been featured from the Midwest to Key West, from Canada to the Caribbean, and across the pond in Europe!
Bocca Musica (Music of the Mouth) formed in the fall of 1996 as an a cappella madrigal quintet. Eventually the focus changed and instrumentation was added. The band developed a bawdy musical comedy act full of drynking songs and spoofs! The multi-faceted group also branched out into the world of traditional, Celtic, pirate, and shanty music as they began to write more original tunes. Bocca arrangements are known for their unique flair and tight harmonies. The band's 25+ years of success are based musical quality, making people laugh, and amazing fans!
